Nabemono, What is that?
Nabemono, a Japanese term meaning “to boil”. It is a traditional Japanese hot pot dish that contains vegetables and meat boiled in broth at separate times, with the vegetables added to the broth last.
In ancient Japan, pottery consisted of the following: clay urns were used for water storage or to store foodstuffs; there were pots in all shapes and sizes for cooking as well as drinking from; jars that sealed at the top (like pots) were classified according to their thickness – thin jars, mainly used to hold liquids (milk, broth), had no holes in the bottom while thicker ones that were wider at the top could also hold solid foods (sashimi); these thick jars with holes in them at the bottom acted like modern-flower pot.
Kiseki’s menu includes unagi nabemono (eel), curry chicken, and yosenabe with veggies.

What is Agemono?
Agemono is a general Japanese term for deep-fried food, particularly meats and vegetables. Also commonly known as tempura karaage
Agemono is created by dipping the chosen ingredients in either flour or breadcrumbs mixed with seasoning, then frying them in oil to cook the outside. The result is usually eaten as a side dish or appetizer.
A few examples of agemono are vegetable tempura, chicken or beef teriyaki (katsu), and shrimp shumai (shrimp dumplings).
How about Teppanyaki and Robatayaki?
Teppanyaki is a Japanese style of food where the ingredients are prepared on a flat iron griddle.
A few examples of Teppanyaki dishes include steak with mushrooms or shrimp and vegetable tempura (vegetable fried rice).
Robatayaki means “cooking by robata.” It is both a type of Japanese grill and the cuisine they cook on it. This is a method of cooking over an open fire using skewers or grilling which are typically rice, seafood, meat (chicken and beef), mushrooms and vegetables.
Robatayaki looks like this: 롤바탄야키 to ro-ba-ta -ya-ki (“ro” meaning hot + “bataniku” being grilled items on skewers) This traditional style grilling technique originates from Japan and was designed to be used with ingredients such as fish or chicken that are cut into smaller pieces for easy eating
An example of Robatayaki dishes is Saba Shioyaki, Shishamo, Salmon Atama Shioyaki,Tsukune Kushiyaki. You can satisfy your appetite at this buffet.
